A Proven Way to Gain Clarity and Grow Your Business

I recently got away for a couple of days with an amazing group of people – and here’s the kicker, each of them devoted time to help me on my business!

I’m talking about the Communicator Coaching (www.CommunicatorCoaching.com) mastermind event.  I joined several entrepreneurs who gathered in a Colorado cabin to gain clarity and create tangible next-steps for our businesses.

The group was led by Ken Davis (www.KenDavis.com), Joy Groblebe, Brian Scheer and Matt Simpson.  These folks are in the business of guiding and equipping entrepreneurs to take their business to the next level.

In the kick-off session, Ken Davis laid out clear signposts on the path to success.  He challenged us to, “Pick your peak (as we looked at the mountains of Colorado), make the commitment, take the first step, look back to see how far you have come, never lose sight of your goal, and don’t forget to CELEBRATE!”

Gain new perspective — Times like this allow you to hear the opinions and thoughts of other people.  Many times we are so close to a challenge or opportunity that we can’t see it clearly.  Sometimes another person can nail the root issue in a matter of minutes.

Challenged to act – This is the fun stuff.  Once you refine and clarify your roadmap, it’s time to act.  Since leaders are “achievers”, when you return from an event like this, it’s time to get going and take the first step toward your newly defined goals.
